Penn's Regiment III SLD carbon rod series, featuring a full 24T solid carbon core cross wrapped and layered with Penn's Spiral Armour 46T and 30T fibres, Topped off with saltwater proof stainless steel guides and tapered EVA handles. The lighter versions are great for general mixed species work while the heavier 20-30lb will happily stop blue shark and halibut.

Hi are the Penn regiment 111 solid carbon boat rods safe to use with braid thanks Paul

Hi Paul,
It difficult to see as there are limited images available for that rod. However it looks like they have an anti frap tip ring so they should be fine with braid.
