Questions and Answers

Q

Hi, I am new to this.... I have purchased some Korum Big Fish Grappler Hair Rigs. Can I use Korum Quickstops with these? I can see that the Quickstops have a hole in the centre for the line to pass through, but the hair rigs already have a loop for a stop, so the loop of the rig looks to big to pass through this hole, so is it another type of Stop that I require? Thanks, Mark.

Hi Mark,

Korum do sell rigs with the quickstop, instead of the hair and loop. Normally you'd buy one or the other, and as you've found out. If you've bought a packet of quickstops, they don't thread over the knot of the hair. With the Grappler rigs you'd typically use a latched baiting needle to pull the loop through a hookbait. Then use an appropriate bait stop to hold the bait in place. I've put a link in below to our coarse fishing bait stops and baiting needles so you can take a look.
