The Daiwa Connoisseur Pro System Whip, coming as an 8m basic package with extensions available to take it to 9 and 10m. Designed for finesse and with a traditional solid topped flick tip that gives that next level response. Manufactured from HVF High Volume Fibre carbon, and with Daiwa V joint technology ensuring prefect section alignment. The flick tip comes with a length of yarn pre fitted for attaching your rigs with a rubber hook keeper supplied to fit.

does this come with a flick tip and a spare hollow top 3?

Hi Phil, thanks for the question. It does indeed, so to confirm the flick tip with dacron cord is fitted already and the spare top 3 for elasticating is in a separate tube included in the bag. Hope this helps. Regards, Tackleuk

Hi there, I was wondering if the daiwa connoisseur 8m rod is a good for sea fishing. I haven't fished for over 20 years and I'm looking to go fishing in Morocco on October

Hi Omar,
Whips and Poles are made exclusively for the UK coarse fishing market rather than for sea use. Plus you'd have to transport it there in one piece with it getting damaged by baggage handlers etc. We'd normally recommend a travel rod that breaks down into multiple sections, or a telescopic one that would fit into your luggage. We sell a few options so I've put a link in below.

Its not something we ourselves stock or sell on our website. The hollow top kits are listed on the Daiwa website with a product code CNSW800HK-BU. For spares though you may have to contact Daiwa direct to see if they can point you towards a supplier that can help.
