Q
What is the difference between standard penn tidal reel and xt reels please
Hi James, thanks for the question. Cosmetics, rotor and a few extra bearings at the very least from what I am aware between the two reels. Both very good reels, no matter which one you go for. Hope this helps. Regards, Tackleuk.
Q
Has the xt reel got a reversible handle, left or right ?
Hi David,
The handle can be swapped to either side depending on your preference.

Q
Can you spool reels with mono?
Hi Steve. Yes you can spool reels with mono. Kind regards TackleUK
Q
Hi, I'm using shimano 13ft TX4,s will these reels fit these rods, as they have quite a small reel seat, and the reels are designed for beach/sea fishing. many thanks Tony.
Hi Tony,
Although we do deal with Shimano we don't currently list the TX4 carp rods. If you can give us an idea of what reels your using at the moment. We can potentially line them up and see how the handle compares to give you a better idea.

Q

Q
Hi do you know when these reels are hitting the shelf as these sound fantastic and in the market for new reels.
Hi Andrew,
I'm with you there, they do look great. We've currently got them listed as a pre order item if you want to reserve some from the first batch. Bit of a wait though as they're still showing as a backorder item with no specific arrival date. The last we heard it may be as long as March next year.
