Just a regular drag system on these. Daiwa reels that feature a quick drag system are typically given 'QD' in the title somewhere.

That is correct providing it is a 5500 size Black Widow Big Pit spool, it should fit the reel.

I believe you are referring to the switch, shown on the right-hand side of the product image. This is for the anti-reverse.
