Hi, I'm looking at a 5000 size Battle 3, can you confirm which handle it has, some listings have it as a normal one, some have it as the oversized fighting handle. No a fan of the fighting handle so if it's that can you suggest an alternative. It's to match with a fox rage prism 30-100g for pike. Cheers
i have a mk.2 estuary rod by anywhere/anyfish. looking at the penn battle 3 6000 model with berkely big game line 0.48mm 25lb. this should give me 285 metres of line. is this a suitable reel and line for my rod, or should i be looking elsewhere? thank you in advance, robert.

Hi, I'm thinking of purchasing a Penn Battle 3 to use with my ABU Garcia Suveran 9' Spinning rod. It's braid friendly 8-15lb with a casting weight of 15-60g. I currently fish for Mackerel, Pollock and Cod from my local pier and shore and propose to fish further afield for Sea Bass. Which size reel would you recommend to balance with this rod please?
