Q

Hi there, looking for a quality Tele rod for coarse fishing mainly float, would you recommend this one? Or is it more suited to carp fishing? Thanks

By Nathan Thomas - Cardiff - 24th Apr 2024
A
Hi Nathan, These are gret value for money rods, but way overgunned for general coarse fishing with a float. If you've had a good look through our travel rods you'll see options for carp, sea and lure anglers and one or two fly options. But nothing in terms of a dedicated match rod. My best suggestion would be to go for a medium weight spinning rod, something like the' Shimano Alivio Slim Tele Spin 9ft that's'currently on sale would be ideal.

Q

I'm pike fishing, after a very compact telescopic rod for chucking dead baits..... Any recommendations pls.

By Lee Waddington - Woking - 18th Mar 2022
A
Hi Lee, Although they're not sold as pike rods. I have seen anglers using telescopic rods and the newer style rods with the extendable butt sections for Pike, with no complaints. If your looking for a few different suggestions in addition to the Eos Pro. If you drop a message to the guys in the customer service team by filling out a support ticket on our website. They'll be able to come back with some suggestions from other brands too. Regards TackleU
