A specialist addition to Drennan’s top of the range Acolyte series. The commercial feeder, available in both 10 and 11ft sizes has been designed to cover multiple scenario’s and will cope with heavy bombs and method feeders as well as registering bites from silvers and F1’s. Manufactured from a super slim and responsive carbon fibre blank fitted with oversized high quality SiC guides, plus a Fuji DPS reel seat. With nice finishing touches like a full cork handle and etched butt cap They come supplied with three tapered carbon quivertip choices carrying an X-soft, Soft and Medium rating

Are the 10’ acolyte plus rods better then the 10’ acolyte commercial feeder rods for big carp

Hi Richard, thanks for the question. I have had a waggle with these and if you are targeting big carp on a method or hybrid I would go for the commercial version as it’s got more back bone for casting. If you are more of a bomb angler for the winter or over a pellet waggler line then I would go for the plus, a little softer in action for lighter leads/feeders and softer under your feet. That’s what I would base the choice on but both will handle big carp when played correctly. Hope this helps. Regards, Tackleuk
