Description
Gobble Bait Sticky Gel, a gel additive for all types of lures and even natural baits. It’s best to apply the gel to dry lures. Super sticky gel that adheres really well and will last between 10 and 30 casts. Full of fish attracting ingredients and 100% biodegradable. Originally designed for lures success has been had on natural baits such as lug, mackerel and squid. Apply directly or in a box to marinade for or a few hours or overnight. Can be applied to rig components like beads etc. Application is simple, add a line of gel to both side of the lure and cast out. Re-apply when necessary. Excess gel can be simply wiped off. Available in three flavours and supplied in a 30ml tube.
- Natural extracts: These are concentrates made from fish, crustaceans, mussels and other natural feed sources. Most of the water and other unwanted substances have been removed so we are left with the most potent fractions to greatly enhance the scent and flavour.
- Amino acids: The building blocks of protein. These smell little or nothing to us, but fish can smell these in water. Some of these are very powerful attractants to fish in low concentration.
- Nucleotides: These substances are what DNA is made of, and they can be found in meat, fish and many other places in nature. Some of these are attractive to fish and are particularly effective in combination with certain amino acids.
- Carboxylic acids: Organics acids that are part of the cycle in all living organisms. Many of these taste and smell good to most fish species, especially in combinations.
- Electrolytes: Different minerals and salts that is found in the fish’s prey. Taste good to the fish and make the fish hold on to the lure for a longer time.
- Pheromones: A common term for substances released by different animals to affect the behaviour of others of the same species. These can be used in spawning, to attract others or as a warning when they get hurt. Some of these have the potential to attract fish at a long distance.
- Flavour compounds: Various volatile substances found in the fishes natural feed sources. We have enhanced the concentration of some of these to pull fish in from a longer distance.
- Plant extracts: Some plants have been proven to attract fish and/or increase their feed intake. The ones we have tested and found effective are found in our Gobble Bait Sticky.
- UV active compounds: Many fish can see colours in a wider spectrum than humans. We have added natural pigments that sometimes help the fish see the lure in dark or murky water.
