The JW Young Trudex Trupin III represents the pinnacle of centrepin reel engineering. Meticulously crafted with uncompromising attention to detail, it draws inspiration from the highly respected Trudex I and II, continuing a proud legacy of British reel-making excellence.
Each Trudex Trupin III is individually serial numbered, making every reel a unique and collectible piece of angling heritage, built to be fished and treasured in equal measure.
With a compact profile measuring 4.5" x 0.54", the Trupin III offers the ideal balance of refined size and exceptional performance. The beautifully anodised silver spool contrasts elegantly with the black backplate, creating a timeless and understated appearance that looks as impressive on the bank as it feels in use.
A simple on/off click drag provides precise control over line tension, delivering smooth, reliable performance whether casting delicately or playing powerful fish. Designed with versatility in mind, the reel features an adjustable wire line guard suitable for both left- and right-handed anglers, ensuring comfort and confidence for all fishing styles.
Weighing just 243g, the Trupin III is exceptionally lightweight, helping to reduce fatigue during long sessions. Inset handles enhance thumb control, offering a direct and responsive connection between angler and reel.
For protection when not in use, the reel is supplied with a neoprene pouch that conveniently attaches to the rod, ideal for roving or travelling, keeping the Trupin III safe and ready for action at all times.
The Trudex Trupin III embodies everything JW Young stands for: timeless design, precision engineering, and uncompromising quality. It is a reel for anglers who value tradition as much as innovation, delivering an experience that elevates every moment spent on the water.
